A Dream I Had Recently

I was on the beach, when a huge wave came and scared everyone on shore. Another wave hit and all who could ran. When I returned to the beach there were people frozen, staring across the ocean. I looked across the sea and I saw a huge, fiery mushroom cloud rising into the air. I could see the fire from below the cloud turning the cloud orange. All on the beach stared in amazement. Then, above the cloud appeared three images as if being shown from a projector. The first image was of four heads. They all looked like Mickey Mouse, but each was slightly different from the other. They reminded me of Farfour, the children's character from Hamas TV. The next image was of a cross turned sideways. The cross had writing underneath it but I do not know what it said. It looked like this:
+--
~`~

The symbols of the writing are just random symbols. I do not remember what the writing looked like.

The final image was of a big blue screen which was showing all sorts of images of people and things, but I do not recall what was being shown on the screen.

I do not know what all of these things mean, but it was a very impacting dream.

A Story About the DMV

Alright, how many of you hate the DMV?

Well, here is one more reason!

I received a car as a gift from my dad. Being that I am punctual in all regards, I waited a few years to transfer the title. Naturally! Well, when I finally did go in to transfer the title I signed on the wrong line. A big mistake. You might think that the DMV would notify me to let me know that there had been a mistake in my title transfer, umm...no. Instead I had to wait until I left my car at work overnight. I went back to get it later and it is not there. I assume it was stolen and call the police. It had been towed. Upon further investigation, I find out that my car was towed because it had "fraudulent tags". The tags I had been given by the DMV were apparently no good. Because the title had not gone through, the registration was no good, therefore, the tags were bogus.

I meander down to the DMV to get it a squared away. After spending a few hours waiting in line I pay the DMV for the registration again.

So, I find out where my car is and have to pay $250 to get it out of the yard. This is after I paid the $75 police processing fee for having my car impounded. What can you do? After paying to get my car I travel to the "yard" and find my car...without a license plate! I call the police, "I'm sorry sir, your license plate was taken because it had fake tags on it". Great, no problem! I don't need one of those to drive, do I?

Well, apparently I do. In order to mask the problem, I move the plate from the front to the back, but still no tags. I ask the police if they still have my license plate, but no, they gave it to the DMV. I call them, they don't have the plate either. They threw it away or something. So...I have to order new plates. Wonderful, that means that I get to spend even more time waiting around at the DMV. I don't have anything better to do. So, I find out that I can order plates online. Cool! I can even personalize it. Perfect! I know just what I want my new plates to say: "DAMNDMV". So I order them. I pay the $45 dollars, it will be worth it once the plates arrive! but no plates ever show up. Eventually I get a letter from the DMV, "We are sorry to inform you that we cannot make the plates you requested because they are outside of public good taste". I'll tell you what's out of good taste, spending $300 plus to fix a small mistake the DMV should have brought to my attention along time ago.

So, after all this, I get to go back to the DMV and get a temporary, paper number plate thing that makes it legal for me to drive. After I leave the DMV I call the police again and they tell that after running my information my car still shows up as unregistered in their system, my car could be towed again at any moment and I would get to go through this all again.

Fast forward four months and I still don't have a license plate; I keep having to go back to the DMV to get new "magic" numbers that allow me to drive. I continue to get pulled over because I have no tags and I have to explain the whole situation to the officer. I love the DMV!

Everybody to the Limit!

This is actually a test to see how many hits this site might get for whatever reason.

So, if you stop by, please leave a response so I know you checked it out!
